The Amount of Flowing vs. Consolidated Force in Praying Mantis Kung Fu?

How would you relate the amount of flowing and consolidated force in Praying Mantis Kung Fu?

For people with an innate skill, I would relate the two as 40:60, but most people who start (in any kung fu) do not have that kind of natural skill, and the condition of their forms and applications (of principle) vary.  For more advanced practitioners, after years of properly applying themselves toward the forms and applications, they’ll be closer to 60% flowing vs. 40% consolidated force.  These advanced practitioners can even vary these numbers upon will.

It is worthy of note that here we are talking about the ratio between flowing and consolidated force, and not the amount of force.  Irrespective of whether the force is flowing or consolidated, an advanced practitioner is more forceful than a beginner.  Even when an advanced practitioner uses a portion of his flowing force, he is more forceful than all the consolidated force of a beginner.

Thank you for your question, and best wishes on your kung fu training.
